Day 4 - San Cristobal Island and Snorkling at Kicker Rock

Kicker Rock - great snorkling!

From the moment we awoke today was jammed full of excitement.  After a delicious breakfast of poached egg, the extremely exotic watermelon, and some random pink juice, we set sail for San Cristobal Island.  A short dingy ride left us on the banks, looking at many beautiful blue-footed boobies; sea-lions, now commonly known as sea-doges; and high flying great and majestic frigate, whose red sacs were flapping in the wind.  After this thrilling encounter with some of nature’s coolest stuff we returned to the boat to prepare for snorkeling.  Now armed with awesome looking wet-suits, we rode dingys to Kicker Rock, two massive rocks in the middle of the ocean. Here we saw a bunch of fish when snorkeling.
After returning to the big boat, we attempted a capture of the neighboring boat (which was not met with enthusiasm from its residents) then ate lunch and readied again for snorkeling.  At this encounter, we swam with cute sea lions, watched many tropical fish, and a shark, which was somehow misconceived as a  megaledon.  Then again we returned to the boat and readied for a dry-landing on another island.  On this island, we saw more sea-doges, frigate birds, boobies, and even a dove nesting in a cactus.
After a dinner of exotic pork, rare mashed potatoes, and pears, we readied for a landing on a Galapagos port town.  Here, we witnessed sea-lions chilling on benches, tables, and just about anything else you can imagine.  We also stacked up on food, which has been fresh on our minds since getting on the boat.  All in all, today has been a great day in paradise.
