Today Mr. and Dr. Reid offered us one last
nature walk at 6:30 in the morning, our last chance to view tropical birds in
the Amazon. After breakfast we went tubing down the Arajuno River. We went by
canoe up stream, and then floated back down to the lodge. Once we returned from
tubing, we packed, ate lunch and left Shaman Lodge before 12:00 to head to the
Quito airport. The seven hour bus
ride back felt much quicker than last time, probably because it was daytime and
we could look outside. When we were almost at the airport, we stopped at a
really good pizza place and had dinner. The pizza there were rectangular, but
they tasted very good. After dinner we arrived at the airport, and flew back to
Atlanta. From there, we each departed and went our separate way home.
